Why do I feel cold near my windows?

Even without a draft, cold glass creates discomfort nearby (radiation). Add a micro air leak, and the room feels much colder than the thermostat.

What helps

Better glazing (often triple), good seals, airtight install, and sometimes reviewing heat under the window. We prioritize living spaces. Still, a window does not replace a wall — it is naturally cooler.
