Is a window warranty transferable when a house is sold?

Several manufacturers allow transfer to the new owner for the remaining term, sometimes with notice. It is not universal: you must read the policy for the product in question.

At resale

Keep invoices and warranty documents. It reassures buyers and clarifies what remains covered. New owners will need the original invoice on hand.
