How do you know if your sealed unit has failed?

The most reliable sign: fog or a haze between the panes, present even when indoor humidity is low. The view becomes milky; sometimes you see mineral traces.

What it is not

Condensation on the room face (living-room side) is not a failed sealed unit. Note where the fog is: indoor face, outdoor face, or between the panes.
